Welcome to Ramcharitra Singh College, Manjhaul, Begusarai, Bihar, a distinguished institution established in 1965. The college gained recognition by the UGC under Sections 2(f) and 12(B) in December 1980 and has been NAAC accredited since 2004, under the visionary leadership of founder Principal Sri Bodhan Prasad Singh. The college offers undergraduate programs in Arts and Science, with the 4-year CBCS system introduced in 2023. Its growth has been supported by key contributors like Satya Narayan Singh and Akhileshwar Babu, along with generous donors such as Chandradeo Babu and Late Brahmdeo Ishwar, who helped establish the present campus at Siuri in 1974. Over the years, notable personalities including Honourable Lalu Prasad and Honourable Hari Narayan Singh have supported infrastructure development like Karpoori Stadium and Girls' Hostel. The college continues to expand with contributions from individuals like Anil Chaudhary and S. S. Ahluwalia. Today, the college provides modern facilities including well-equipped laboratories, automated library with WEB OPAC and INFLIBNET, smart classrooms, language lab, ICT-based learning, Wi-Fi campus, and eco-friendly infrastructure. It also runs add-on courses along with NSS and NCC units, and has a newly constructed Women's Hostel. With over 5000 students, 30 teachers, and 15 non-teaching staff, the college spans 3.87 acres and continues striving for excellence, aiming for its second cycle of NAAC accreditation and contributing to nation-building and human values.
